Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Gradient Glow
You can download my glow settings HERE and add it to your
Alien skin Impact folder under settings - glow.

Font used for my name is BankGothic BT

Let's start

Open a new image 650 x 250, add paper4.

Add WAMask, resize to 40%, move it to the left, duplicate it

and move one to the right.

Add Envelope, resize 40%, move it out on the lower left corner.

Add the WordArt, resize 65%, change blend mode to

Luminance (legacy).

Duplicate it 2 times, and add Constellation to all 3 with these

settings (remember to hit the Random seed

button for nr 2 and 3)

Close 2 of the wordart layers .

Add your tube of choice, move it to the left, duplicate it and move

it below the wordart layers, move it to your liking and change

blend mode to Luminance (legacy) (or maybe another blend mode

fits your tube better, play around with it;)

Add Key2, resize 20%, free rotate right by 35 and mirror it,

move it to the right.

Add the Leaves1, resize 40% and mirror, move it to the right

to your liking. As you can see I've also duplicated it

and moved some to the left behind the tube ;)

Crop the tag now to remove all access.

(Just hit the Merged Opaque button to get the whole tag)

Time to make the frame.

Add a new raster layer on top,

Select All, Selections - Modify - Contract 7.

Selections - Invert , flood fill selection with Black.

Selections - Modify - Contract 1, add a new raster layer,

flood fill it a red from the background paper, I've used #860001.

Deselect.

Duplicate the black frame 2 times, and add constellations with

these settings to all 3 (remember the random seed button)

On the red frame, duplicate it twice

on all 3 add

Adjust - Add /Remove Noise - Add Noise

Random 70, 72 and 74 (monochrome checked)

Close 2 of each frame.

Add proper © and then we're ready to animate ;)

Copy merged (ctrl+shift+C)

Paste as new animation in Ani Shop

Back in PSP close the 2 frame layers and the wordart layer you've used

and open the next ones.

Copy merged again and paste after current in ani shop.

Do the same to the last set of frames and wordart too.

Now you have 3 frames in ani shop.

open the circlesparks animation, and you'll see it has 15 frames

so we need 15 frames in our banner too.

select all and copy the banner, go to the 3rd frame and paste after

current, then you have 6, go to the 6th and paste after current.

then you have 9, do it 2 more times to get to 15 ;)

Now you have 15 frames, select all and keep frame 1 visible

go to the circlesparks select all and drag it over to the banner,

then you'll see it and can place it where you like.

if you mess up or don't like your placing, just undo (ctrl+Z)

and try it again ;)

That's it :)))

Add all the names you like

I've used Bank gothic bt on mine, same color as the red frame

and with a white glow from alien skin's gradient glow.

(If you're using my glow settings it's the Vaybs Nice White.)

The avatar is made with a new image 150 x 150

copy merged your banner and add it.

make the same frame as on the banner, and add the

proper ©

Let's start

Open a new image 600 x 250
Select all, Selections - Modify - Select Selection Borders, inside 6
Add a new raster and flood fill it white, deselect and
give the frame a drop shadow, 0, 0, 40, 8.
Select all, Selections - Modify - Select Selection Borders, inside 3
Add a new raster and flood fill it #621a27

Go to the bottom layer.
Add paper 15, drag it a bit down to get more dots.
Add frame 9, resize 80%, add paper in all frames, use the magic wand
select inside one frame, hold down the Shift key and click in the
additional 2 frames. I've used paper 9, add it as a new layer below the frame
right click and choose Promote Selection to Layer, delete the original
paper layer.
While you have the frames selected, add the tubes you want in them, resize if needed,
Selections - Invert and delete the access.

Give the frame a drop shadow, 0, 0, 40, 8.

Add element 36, resize 40%, move it to the bottom right frame, duplicate, mirror.
Add element 11 in the middle resized 35%.
give it all a drop shadow.

Add element 1 (the numberless one ;), resize 30% move it to the top right of the right frame.

Add element 4, resize 40% and move it to the top left of the left frame.

Add element 3 resize 40% and move it up between the right and middle frame.
move the layer down behind the frame background, duplicate and move it to the
bottom left of the left frame.

Add your name on top, between the left and middle frame, I've used the font Airfoil Script SSi.
I gave mine a little white Gradient glow using Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact.
I've used the same drop shadow as before on all elements.

And remember to add the proper ©

Save as jpeg

Now for the Avatar

Open a new image 150x150
Select all, Selections - Modify - Select Selection Borders, inside 4
Add a new raster and flood fill it white, deselect and
give the frame a drop shadow, 0, 0, 40, 8.
Select all, Selections - Modify - Select Selection Borders, inside 2
Add a new raster and flood fill it #621a27
Go to the bottom layer.
Add paper 15, drag it down to get more dots.

Add frame 6, resize 28%, rotate 8 to the left, now the dots don't show
so let's give it new ones, Effects - texture effects - Weave ; 1, 4, 1, white, white,
fill gaps checked.
Use the magic wand to select inside the frame, add a paper background below the frame.
Add your tube of choise, I picked one from the tag and resized it 80%, Invert and delete
the access of the tube, deselect.
Back on the frame give it a subtle white glow using Alien Skin Eye Candy 5
Impact - Gradient Glow - Subtle White Glow,
under Basic drag the Glow Radius (pixels) down to 5.
Add element 36 resize 40% then 50% move it to the bottom of the frame.
Add element 1 resize 30% then 50% move it to the top left of the frame.

Sharpen the elements, cos all the resizing makes them a bit blury.
Add your name at the top right side.

And remember proper ©

Save a jpeg.

I saved my decor as a cluster for you in png, got carried away adding

stuff, so I'm not even beginning to write it out, lol, so instead

just rightclick and save ;)

Font for my name is called Carlotta.

I've also used Flaming Pear Glare for the tube and

Alien Skin's Eye Candy 5: Impact - Gradient glow on my name, but it's not a must ;)

Let's start

Open a new image 600x600, flood fill white

Add element 1 (the long wordart), resize 80%, Select all, float, defloat.

add paper 6 above, rightclick on it and chose promote selection to layer (or hit Ctrl+Shift+P)

Select none (Ctrl+D) then just delete the black wordart and the paper layer.

Add element 30 resize 65 %. move it to your liking after you add the frame.

Add element 20, resize 75%.

Add the heart frame (element 27), resize 50% and rotate 15 % to the right, sharpen.

Use the magic wand, select inside the white frame, selections - modify - expand 5

Add a new raster below the frame, copy paper nr 2 and paste into selection.

Add your image of choise above, move and resize to fit, Selection - Invert and delete

the access, deselect.

I gave my tube a glare, using Flaming Pear at these settings

If it doesn't sute your tube, try hitting the dice button to test other

settings, that's how I ended on the one I used ;)

Add element 11, resize 55% drag it to the top of the frame, give it a drop

shadow 1, 1, 40, 4. Also added the same drop shadow to the frame.

Add the decor cluster, and move it to your liking,

then add your name !!

I gave mine a tiny glow using Alien Skin's Gradient Glow.

Close the white background, crop the tag and save the tag as

a png.

And you're done :))

This was the first tutorial I ever made my own elements for back in 2007.
Actually retired it a little while back, but the other day I went in to visit
Jessica at Gothic Inspirations, and look what I found here.
It was so sweet to see my old tut tag still in use, so I just had to dust it off

and put it up again, with minor adjustments.

Supplies

Elements made esp for this tut here
wordart is included, also includes 2 more (Happy Birthday and

Scrappy Holidays) the last one is also used in the tag at the bottom ;)

Recoloring is always fun :))

To use it you gotta purchase a license through MPT
Plugins used
Mura Meister - Perspective Tiling
Xenofex 2 - constellation

Font of choise, I've used Quaxy

Let's start!!

Open a new image 600 x 600
Select all, copy the green paper and paste into selection.
Add both the round shapes, and keep the one with nothing in the middle on top.

Add Mura Meister-Perspective Tiling at these settings:

Sharpen once. Add drop shadow: 38, 0, 25, 5 black

Add the tube you want sitting on the tiles. (remember the © info)
Add a fitting drop shadow

Add ribbon lines behind the circle, erase the parts showing beneath the circle.
add the balloon on a layer under your tube, duplicate it twice
Move one a little up and one a little down, zoom in to see better that you get the
baloons on line ;)
Hide 2 of the balloon layers

Duplicate the circle layer twice, use the magic wand, tolerance 15,
and click on the dark spot in the center.

Add Xenofex 2-Constellation-Bling Bling to all 3 layers at these settings

just hit the random seed button to change star positions on the next 2 layers.
Hide 2 of the layers when you're done.

Add a new layer at the top select all
Selections - Modify - Select Selection Borders, Inside, 10.
Copy the sheet you want as a border, and paste into selection, deselect.
Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Add this drop shadow, (remember to hook for shadow on a new layer)

Add it again changeing -6 to 6 on V and H.

Drag the 2 shadow layers under the Perspective tiled layer (the circle floor we made)
Add the text you like and we're ready to animate it.

Merge visible and copy to animation shop
undo the merge and open the next balloon and circle layer closing the ones you've used.
Merge visible again, copy and paste after current in Ani Shop
Do the same again to get the last balloon and cirle.
Select all layers and change Frame Properties to 25.
Animate and save ;)

And you're done!!

I've used a payfont called Fleurie

Before we start, since this is a full size kit

I've been good and told you all my resizings,

my tip is to resize the elements before you add them to the tag,

cos it saves time copying a smaller element ;)

Let's start

Open a new image 600x600, flood fill white.

Add a new raster layer copy the third paper (freebie13)

and Paste into selection, deselect.

Add DBV mask 59 and merge group.

Add the circle frame resiced to 12%.

Use the magic wand to select inside it, Selections - medify - expand by 6

Copy the same paper, paste as new layer below the frame, resize to 80%,

then drag it to find the more colorful outer parts, I chose one down to the left,

when you like what's inside the frame, rightclick on the layers pallett

and choose promote selection to layer, deselect.

Then just delete the big paper layer.

Add the 3 flowers (freebie3) resized to 15%, duplicate it and resize that one

to 60%, move the big one down to the right. on the small centered one

add Muras Maister copies at these settings:

Move it below the paperlayer behind the frame ;)

Add freebie 5, resized to 30% add it below the big flower cluster.

duplicate it 2 times and hit K (to get the Pick tool)

rotate and downsize them a bit and move them where you like .

Add freebie 1 resized 10%

Add freebie 7 resized 20% on top, move it to the left, then duplicate

flip and mirror it, move it below the flower circle layer and drag it

up to your liking.

Duplicate the 3 big flowers, move it to the left so one flower

is below the red leaves (see the tag for reference)

use the Eraser Tool to remove the other two flower ;)

Add freebie 6 below the 3 flowers, resized 10%, move it to your liking ;)

Add freebie 10, resize 5%, move it to the outpart of the mask anywhere

you like, move the layer down just above the mask layer, duplicate it as many

times you want and move it here you like, if you look closely you might

se all my 7 ones ;)

Add freebie 2 on top, resize 15%, recolor to #95b5bc, and move it to

the top of the frame. Give it this Inner bevel

Then add Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact - Gradient Glow

I used the Factory Default setting and changed color to white and a light

blue from the tag, add the glow twice ;)

Drop shadow on all elements I've used -2, -3, 30, 4, black.

Think I've covered all the elements now,

don't forget to add your image of choise in the frame ;)

So let's get on to the Snow :))

Go to the circle backgroundlayer in your frame

select all, float, defloat. Then add 4 raster layers above it.

one the top one add Alien Skin Eye candy Impact - Glass

- Vaybs big button (Scroll down on Settings to find it)

On the next 3 layer you add VDL Adrenaline - Snowflake with these settings

Just slide the Random seed button a bit up for each of the next

2 layers ;). Deselect and close 2 of the snow layers.

Add your name of choise. I gave it the same inner bevel and the glow once.

Don't forget the proper ©.

Then we're ready to animate.

Hit ctrl+shift+C to copy merged.

Open Ani Shop 3.
Hit ctrl+V to paste it.

Back in PSP, close the snow layer you used, open the next one

and hit ctrl+shift+C again to copy merged

in Ani Shop hit the paste after current button.

Do the same to the third snow layer too ;)

Select all and change frame properties to 25.

watch it and save if you're happy :))

And you're done :)) Hope you've had fun!!

Muras Meister - Copies

Let's start

Open a new image 700x600 big, flood fill white.

Add frame 5, use the magic wand to click inside the frame,

Selections - Modify - Expand by 4

Open your paper of choise (I used nr5),copy.

Add a raster layer below the frame and paste into selection .

I added a little Constellation to the paper (using Alien skin Xenofex 2)

but we're not animating it so it's not a must.

Add the stitched heart, resize 30%, and add Mura's Meister Copies

with these settings:

Move it below the paper.

Open rose2, use the Freehand Selection tool on point to point,

Make a selection around just the rose, copy and paste it as a new layer

on top of the tag.

Resize 40% and add Mura's Meister Copies
with these settings:

Add frame 6, resize 80% and add a paper of choise (I used nr 7)

(See above if you don't remember how to add it )

Add your tube of choise, delete the access.

Duplicate it resize the original 85%, then duplicate it 2 times.

Add Alien skin Eye Candy 5 Impact - Backlight

Choose Outline, Foggy on Settings and adjust the Basics

like this:

Add this to all 3 resized tube layers, just hit the Random Seed

button for the other 2.

To remove all the access Backlight, select the paperlayer in the

smallest frame, Selections - select all, - float, - defloat, - invert

Then hit delete on all 3 backlight layers.

I gave the main tube this drop shadow 3,13,30,4, twice ;)

Add the bling swirl move it down to the right, duplicate, mirror

duplicate again, and flip, move it below the heart circle.

Add a bow, resize 40% and move it to the left above the first frame.

Duplicate and mirror.

Now decorate as you want in front of your tube

I've used Flowers3, resized 40%

on one side of the tube, duplicated and mirrored.

In between them I added stitched heart2, resized 40%.

Tags1 resized 70%, to the right below the flower layer.

Tag2 (res 30), both spiral hearts (res 45 and 50)

and lock2 (res 40) to the left below the flower layer,

rotate to your liking ;)

Also used the heart element behind the tube, resized 50%,

duplicated and mirrored.

Drop shadow used on all elements is -2, 2, 30, 4 black.

Added the text Blue Angel using the font Passions Conflict ROB

Added my name using the font Pascal.

Also gave the words a small white glow using Alien skin's Gradient Glow.

Then we should be done, just remember the proper ©

Give that one a glow too if it needs it ;) mine did :))

Ready to animate

Open Animation Shop 3

Close 2 of the tubes with backlight.

Copy merged, paste as new animation in ani shop

open the next tube with backlight, close the used one.

Copy merged and paste after current in ani shop.

Do the same again to the last one.

Select all in ani shop, change frame properties to 25

Animate and save.

Let's start

Open a new image 600x600 flood fill white.

Add the spiderweb, then the Haunted1 Tag, resized 60%

Add the Tree1, resize 20 % move it to the left and drag the layer behind

the web layer. Duplicate it 2 times, drag one to the right and one

up on the left side;)

Add skeleton2 above the web layer, resize it 60%, use the pick tool (K)

to move it up to the right and rotate it a bit to the right

so just the head and the hand is showing.

That should be it behind the Tag let's move to the top.

Add the 2 ghosts, resize 30%, move one to the left and nr 2 to the right.

Add the Caution tag, resize 30%, move it to the right.

Add the Spooky Sauce, resize 12%, rotate 90 to the right and

put it on the left front of the tag.

Add the book, resize 20%

Add the single candle, resize 45%

and finally add your tube of choise to the right.

Remember the proper ©.

Add drop shadows to all the elements, exept the ghosts.

I'm adding my name later in Ani Shop cos you will wanna

give it away as pressies.

Then

It's time to start Animating :))

Close both ghost layers and copy merged (use CTRL+Shift+C

(on your left side of the keyboard),

If you're not used to using it, then try it and you'll find it'll open up

a whole new world when it comes to animating,

it makes the job sooooo much easyer and fun, you don't have to

undo anything and you can just move the ghost along ;))

Enough about that, lol, back to the job at hand.

Paste it as a new animation in Ani Shop

back in PSP open the ghost to the right put it below the sign so just a tip

of the hood is showing (make sure none of it is sticking out on the side

or below the sign), copy merged (CTRL+Shift+C)

Paste after current in ani shop.

Back in PSP move the ghost up so you see the head above the sign

copy merged and paste after current.

Back in PSP move the ghost it a little bit more up and to the left

I made sure the hood stayed inside the circle background the shole time.

copy merged again and do this until you have the ghost dissapearing

behind your tube of choise. Use the eraser tool to delete some of the ghost

if it stickes out on the left of your tube, cos we don't want it to appear

again on the left side of her ;) ( I duplicated it and closed the original,

before I deleted anything on the left of her)

All in all my ghost trip took 9 frames (10 counting the first ghost-free one)

, you might get more or less, no worries;)

After you've added the frame with the last little bit of the ghost at her right side,

then Select all frames (Ctrl+A) right click and make Frame Properties 35

Now copy your first frame again (the ghost-free one) paste after the last

frame. Right click and make frame properties 150.

Back in PSP, close the ghost layer we've finished animating,

and open the ghost to the left, copy merged.

Paste after current. Then copy the ghost free frame again and paste

as the last frame. (I had 13 frames by now)

on the last one you also make sure frame properties are 150 ;)

Go to the ghost free frame before the ghost to the left (my third last frame)

right click and choose Insert Image Transition

with these settings :

Add the same Image transition to the next layer too

(the one with the ghost to the left;) (my total is 23 frames)

Then test out your animation, does it look right??

If not here are my frame properties if you have the same number

of frames as me ;)

Frames 1-10 =35

Frame 11 = 150

Frames 12-22 = 10

Frame 23 = 150

if you wanna save it to add names later, select all (Ctrl+A)

copy (Ctrl+C)

in PSP Ctrl+V, then save as psp

Add a name to the original in PSP give it double gradient glow

using Alien skin , if you like ;)

add a drop shadow 1,2,60,6. copy it.

paste as new animation in Ani shop, hit paste after current until you

have as many frames as you have on your tag :)

Select all and copy

on your tag, select all and Ctrl+E then place the name where you want it

animate and save ;)

Let's start

Open a new image 600x600 flood fill white

Add your frame of choise, I've used nr 1, resize 85%

Use your magic want to select inside, Selections - moderate -

expand by 5. Then add a new raster layer below the frame and flood fill

with the lightest grey, #c0c0c0.

Add the chickenwire below the framebackground and recolor it

later with the Manual Color Correction to fit your tag

(I picked red from the chair ;)

Now add the Bars (element 57) below the frame resize 60%

and remoce the access outsie the frame.

Then add a chair and the clock and whatever more you want

inside the jailcell ;) and someone to sit on the chair.

Resize all the elements to your need, use the pick tool (K) to shrink it ;)

Now to give the jailcell a little more shabby look,

take the Lighten/Darken Brush tool with these settings

Keep the right mouse button down to color it lighter and switch to the left

to color it darker, just play with it, I made the floor lighter and the

walls shabby and darker.

now to decorate ouside the frame I've used elements

37, 41, 58, 68, 69

Resize, rotate, duplicate and mirror to your liking ;)

Add the wordart, mine's resized 80% and given a subtle white glow.

Remember proper © ;)

oh, and add some drop shadows, lol forgot to mention them this time.

Close the white background and export as png.

And you're done :))

Let's start

Open a new image 650x500, flood fill white

Add a paper of choise, I've used nr 5 and add the mask,

merge group.

Add the silver star, resize it to 10% and add Mura's Meister Copies

with these settings:

Add the frame and use the magic wand to select inside it

Selections - modify - expand 2

Copy the same paper add a new raster layer below the frame

and paste into selection (Ctrl+Shift+L).

Book is resized 60%

Moon resized 60% and duplicated to make it less see-through

Umbrella resized 45%

Leaves resized 30%

Flowers resized 50%

Hanging lamp resized 20%

and wordart resized 12% and changed color with

manual color correction to a dark blue

and gave it a white glow with Alien Skin Eye Candy 5:

Impact - Gradient Glow

Add your name and give it the same glow.

Let's start:

Open a new image 600x600, flood fill it white.

Add a paper, I've used nr 1 ad the mask to it and merge group.

Add frame nr 8 then frame nr 6 on top of it.

Add an image in the little square frame and add another tube in front.

Add the dangling heart, resize to 60%, place it on one side,

duplicate and mirror.

Add a flower I've used element 11, resize to 35%

duplicate twice and place them as you like

add a nametag on top, I used the white one (element 18)

resized 50% and use the pick tool (K) to tilt it a bit.

Then add the wordart, resize to 20% and use the manual color

correction tool to change it from black to white.

then give it a double black and white glow

here are my settings:

Go to the dangling hearts, merge them down so they're on one

layer, then duplicate them 4 times, close the original and keep as backup.

Use the Freehand Selection tool

Selection type: Point to point

Mode: Replace

Feather and smoothing : 0

Anti-alias checked

Make a selection around just the content in the heart.

Then hold down the Shift key while you do the same

selection in the other heart too.

Then add the constellation - Bling Bling, with these settings

Add it to all 4 copies of the hearts, just click the Random Seed button

for the other 3 layers.

I've also added the same bling bling to the girls diamonds.

Use the same Freehand Selection tool to make your selections.

Add proper © and add your name to the nametag.

Open Ani Shop 3

Close 3 of the 4 heart layers, and 3 of the 4 Main tube layers

if you've animated on her too ;)

Hold down CTRL+SHIFT and hit C to copy merged

hit CTRL + V in ani shop

open the next layers in PSP and close the used ones

copy merged again and paste after current in ani shop

do the same to the 3rd and 4th heart and tube.

Then CTRL+A to select all 4 frames

change Frame properties to 20, view animation and save it.

And you're done :))

Let's start

(First, if you're using the full size edition of the kit for this tut

then the element numbers won't match ;)

Open a new image 600x600 flood fill white.Add frame 8, resize it 80%

I've also changed the color of it a bit.(I used the Manual color correction,

Source: #566822 , Target: #5ba51e) give it a drop shadow -2,3,50,4.

Add paper1 resize it to your liking, then use the selection tool on rectangle,

select inside the frame, selections - invert, then hit delete to remove access paper.

I tweaked the colors of the paper with the same settings as the frame.

Add element 29 behind the paper layer, resize it 70% and drag it up to the right.

duplicate it and drag one down on the left.Add element 11 and drag it to the right.

Now we start adding our scene on top off the paper layer

I started with element 21 (the flowerbed), resize it 50%

and place it so that some flowers are behind the frame on the left.

Duplicate and mirror, merge down, and give it a drop shadow 2,-4,40,4

then duplicate again and move this layer above the frame layer,

then we get the flowers behind the frame out in the open

Then use your eraser to remove the grass on the bottom of the frame.

Now I'm sorry but I didn't put notes on the rest of the layers to tell

how much I've resized each element,

but I'm listing all the elements I've used behind the bed of flowers;

Element 30, 14, 5, 1 (the bench), 35, 28, 03, 13, the clouds, and 26.

On the outside of the frame I've used 34, 36 and 16.

Resize and ajust them to fit the tube('s) you're using for it.

Give everything a drop shadow and remember proper ©

Crop it if needed, close the backgroundlayer

and save it as a png.

And you're done :))

Let's start

Open a new image 600x600 flood fill white

add leaves04, the framed leaves, resize 25%

Add your tube of choise.

if like me you want the framei in another color just go to

Effects - Photo Effects -Black and white film.

Filter color - yellow , strength - 100

Then use the manual color correction to make it the color you'd like.

I picked a dark green from the tube.

If you don't have the Manual Color Correction button visible go to
View -customize

On commands choose All commands then find Maual Color Correction.

Click on it and hold it, then you can drag it out and place it where you like,

below you can see where I have mine ;)

Open paper03 copy it.

Add a new raster layer above your white background

select all and paste the paper into selection (ctrl+shift+L)

Duplicate it.

On the original add DBV mask18

for the next one we wanna try and make a selection inside the leaves frame.

I used the selection tool on circle, hold down the shift key and you can make

multiple selections until you have the inside of the frame selected.

Or you can use the Freehand selection tool set it on point to point

and draw around the frame.

When you're happy with your selection invert it

(selection - invert, or ctrl+shift+I)

and hit delete.

At the same time add the crystalrain02 resize it 25%

move it inside the selection and hit delete again.

then select none (ctrl+D)

On the circled background add Simple - Horizontal Grain.

Then I used the manual color corrector to change color to a

light mossy green, just play with the colors picking them

up from your tag so far.
Back to the crystalrain layer, duplicate it 2 times

add constellation - bling bling to them, settings below

Add frame01, resize 20%, place it and tilt it a bit to the left.

Erase a little bit on it so it looks like it's hanging on the branch.

Sharpen it and change color to match your tag.

Use the selection tool and select inside it, selections - modify

-expand by 3, add a new raster layer below and flood fill with a color

of choise (you can always change color as you go).

Add an image of choise in the frame duplicate the image

change blend modes on both of them I used luminance legacy on one

and overlay on the other, others might be better for yours ;)
Add flower05 and resize, duplicate 2 times and placed them at the

bottom of the frame.

Add heartcharm02, resize 15%, add on top of the flowers

and color it to your liking.

Add the butterflies, resize and place where you like,

I duplicated and mirrored one ;)

Add your name of choise and give it a gradient glow

I've used settings below

When you're happy with it (sharpen what needs to be sharpened,

and give drop shadows ;)

Drop shadow used on most things are -3,-3,303
with just small alterations, on my name I changed it to 3,3,30,3;)

Then we're ready to animate.

Close 2 of the bling bling layers and one of the tube layers inside the frame

I closed the overlay layer.

Copy merged and paste as new animation in ani shop 3

back in psp, close the used bling layer and open the next one, keep

the same tube layer inside the frame.

copy merged and paste after current in ani shop.

close the bling layer and open the last

and change the tube in the frame to the

overlay mode layer

copy merged and paste after current.

Select all and change frame properties to 15 before saving it.

And you're done!!

Setting up Ani Shop and animating

Been PSP'n for some years now and I tend to forget that

some of you are just starting out and need things explained better

so I'm making this one to refer to for those

who are beginners with Animation Shop 3

First let's look at File - Preferences - General Program Preferences

Here are the settings mine is set too.

Paste after current

is this buttons function, you just hit it to add the next layers

behind your current one, every time you copy a new one

from PSP

View Animation

Hit this button to see the animation, and then go on to save it.

When you're ready to save an animation File - Save as...
hit customize... when you're on the box you see below

The only thing I might change on the 2 boxes you see below is to vary

between Optimized Octree and Optimized Median Cut (in the first bow below)

Depending on if the first save looks grainy I might try the other option

to see it it looks better.

Other than that you don't have to go in here every time you save

just hit Next on all the boxmessages you get in your saving process.

Think I've managed to cover most of the general things you need

to do my tuts ;)

If you have other things you need explained don't hesitate to ask

I might be able to help ;)

Open a new image 600x600 flood fill white

Add your frame of choise, (resized mine to 80%)

Make a selection inside the frame add your chocolate

paper of choise (I chose the light one, my weakness, lol ;) add it ass a new

layer below the frame, selection - invert, then hit delete.

You should now crop the tag to remove the acces of the paper

that we don't see so you don't get in trouble with it when we animate ;)

Duplicate the paper layer

on the top one make some random square selections and hit delete so the paper

looks something like shown below

Deselect and duplicate the layer 2 times

Add Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Nature - Drip

Choose the Small, Fat Drips Setting for the first one

On the other 2 just hit the Random Seed button .

Make a selection below the frame so you can delete the access

dripping chocolate sticking out on all 3 layers

(or as I'd like to say, just lick it off, LOL, I wish )

Now you just add all the stuff you'd like to it

I colored the wordart and gave it a double colored glow

insing alien skins Eye candy Impact - Gradient Glow

When you're happy with your tag

add some drop shadows, I used -1, 1, 70, 3 on most parts.

Add the proper ©

Then we're ready to animate, see to it that you only have one of the

dripping layers open, copy merged (Ctrl+Shift+C)

Paste as new animation in ani shop 3

Undo in PSP open the next dripping layer, closing the used one

copy merged again, paste after current in ani shop

do the same to the last dripping layer.

Select all 3 frames in ani shop, change frame properties to 20

animate and save.

And you're done!!

Let's start

Open a new image 600x600 flood fill white

Add one of the sky papers, I've used nr 20, as a new layer.

Add the mask to it and merge group.

Add your frame of choise and start building your image with the

elements, for instance, grass, tree, clouds, sun, bugs, and the

pinwheels.

For the pinwheels add both of the same color,

resize and place them on top of each other,

zoom in to see that you get them placed at the same spot

so they don't jump when we animate (I had to adjust them a couple of times

myself ;) link the 2 and 2 together with the Layer Link Toggle so you

can easely move them around your image if you need to,

without havign to adjust them again.

The tag for the wordart is resized 60% most of the other elements

are ajusted using the Pick tool (K) so I can't give you a number.

Remember proper ©

When you're happy with your tag, close one of each of the 2 pinwheels

copy merged

Open Ani Shop, paste as new animation.

open the other pinwheels, and close the one you've used

copy merged again and paste

after current, select all (both frames) change frame properties to 18

animate and save

And you're done!

Let's start;

Open a new image 520 x 520 flood fill white

add a new raster, pick a paper for the mask, select all

and paste into selection on the new raster.

Add the mask and merge group.

Add the frame, resize 70%, use the magic wand to select inside,

selections - modify - expand 5

add a paper by adding a raster below frame, copy paper and past into selection

pick your tube, paste it as a new layer, resize to fit, and when happy

with your placing , selections - invert, then hit delete on your keyboard.

Then you're ready to decorate;)

Drop shadow I used on most everything is -2, 3, 70, 5

Straw with berries is resized 60, mirrored and rotated 10 to the left.

Have fun decorating, resizing and rotating ;)!!

(don't forget to sharpen when needed ;)

When happy remember proper ©

copy merged

paste as new animation in ani shop 3

paste after current 3 times so you have 4 frames.

Open the animated butterfly select all, copy

On your tag select all and hit Ctrl+E place the butterfly where you'd like

and as many times as you'd like

and give them a drop shadow.

The nametag for the quote is resized 65%

and the button 15%

Doodle is resized 80% and colored

Also added a few extra flowers ;) all up to your liking !! :)

Duplicate the frame twice and add Constellation at these settings

hit the random seed button for the other 2 frames
Add the name and give a gradient glow

Let's start;

Open a new image 700 x 600 flood fill white

Add the flower circle frame, resize 80%

add the frame with 3 windows, resize 80%

add the images you'd like in the frames (keep in mind that half the image

in the left frame will be hidden under the flower frame ;)

add backgrounds behind them tooif the images don't fill the frames ;)

Close the flower frame and the backgroundlayer

then merge visible, open the flower frame and background again.

Rotate the frame 12 % to the left

Add a drop shadow 0,0,80,9 and hook the box for shadow on new layer

Duplicate the frame and drag the shadow and the first frame layer

below the flower circle layer.

then take the Eraser tool, had mine on size 60, and start erasing

the parts of the frame that are covering the flower circle to the left

Add the scattered flowers just abow the white background, duplicate and mirror.

Add tag01 below the flower circle, (or add a paper if you want another

background in the flower circle ;) duplicate it and drag it abow the

flower circle, resize it 50%, place it and add a wordart to it (your own or mine ;)

Added 3 flowers on top of it they are resized 30 then 80% and flipped.

Add tag02 resize 40%, rotate right 35% and mirror and ad name to it ;)

Add bow08 on the next layer above.

Now if you've Erased too little of your top frame, just adjust it and erase more to

make it look right.

If you've erased too much, no worries, you have the whole frame so just

duplicate, move up and erase again ;)

Add bow05, resize 40%, rotate left 12%, sharpen and place on the top

right of the frame, duplicate, mirror, flip and place at the lower left of the frame.

Add all the elements you'd like, my butterflies are resized 15 and 17 %

Don't forget a proper © and when happy, close the white background and

save as png ;)

Think that was all of it ;)

Let's start

Open a new image, 600x600 flood fill white

Pick a paper in the kit, copy it, add a new raster layer, select all

and paste into selection. Add the mask to it (invert transparency), merge group.

Add aframe, resize to 80%.

Use the magic wand, select inside the frame, Selections - modify -expand by 5

add a new raster layer below the frame, pick a paper and paste into selection.

Add your tube of choice.

Add the bent heart line on the bottom of the frame (or where ever you feel like it ;) )

resize to 80%, duplicate it 3 times (I like keeping an original in case I should change my

mind later ) Add a drop shadow on a new layer below the first one.

Then stand on the top layer, add Sandflower specials - sparkle001,

the only change of settings is to drag the Max size down to 4.

On the next 2 layers Max size 4 and drag the random seed button to change positions on the stars.

Add the heart for your wordart, resize and add the wordart you want in it.

merge it down on the heart and rotate it a bit to your liking.

Place it to fit to your tube, I draged mine below the girl.

Add other elements untill you're happy with the tag.

remember to give the elements a drop shadow,

To add sparkle to the hearts of the wordart and the hanging heart

Just duplicate the layers you wanna add sparkle too 3 times,

Use the magic wand (tolerance 12) to select the parts you wanna sparkle

use Sunflower specials - sparkle001 again, only this time our selections are

so small that you don't need to adjust the Max size, just drag the Random

Seed button for the next 2 layers.

Now I've got 3 different parts duplicated and with sparkle, keep your tounge

straight ;) close all but the top layer on all of them, so you've only got

one sparkle layer visible.

Add the name you'd like, I gave mine a gradient glow

with help of Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact, give it a drop shadow

and don't forget the proper ©

Now we're ready to animate. Copy Merged, paste as new animation in ani shop.

Close the sparkle layers you've used (all 3 of them) and open the next ones

copy merged again and paste after current in ani shop.

do the same again with the last sparkle layers and paste after current.

Animate and save as...

And you're done!

Open a new image, 600x600 flood fill white

Add the frame resize to 70%

Add a new raster layer below the frame, flood fill with a dark color

from the frame, and add the mask to it. Merge group

Add a background paper in the frame.

Add all the elements you'd like from Sabre's lovely kit,

behind and in front resize and have fun ;)

Add the sword, resize and place it, duplicate the sword twice

Rotate free 5% to the left on one and change to right on the other one.

Place all the 3 swords with the tip on the same spot.

Then put the stone just infront of the tip.

Look at the bluryness on the swords, sharpen them to look the same ;)

Add your name and give it a gradient glow, i've used the settings below

I added the same glow twice ;)

For the wordart I resized it to 70%, duplicated it and merged down

then gave it a little glow too.

Add the proper ©

Then we're ready to animate

Close 2 of the sword layers, I kept the one to the left open first,

copy merged and paste as new animation

in ani shop, open the sword we didn't rotate (the one in the midle),

closing the first one, copy merged again

and paste after current in ani shop.

Do the same to pick up the third sword too.

Now we've got 3 frames left, midle and right sword, but we want the midle one at

the end too so we make it sway properly, just copy it and paste after the last one.

Select all and change frame properties to 25 before animating and

saving it.

And you're done!

Lets start

Open a new image, 600x500 flood fill white

Add the frame, resize it to 80%, give it a drop shadow, remember to

check the box "shadow on new layer"

Add a background paper in the frame.

Lets add the bling bling before we go on adding stuff

Duplicate the frame twice, use the selection tool on rectangle,

make a selection inside the frame like shown below.

Then just click once inside the selection to make it select the

hanging drops, like shown below.

Defloat (ctrl+shift+F) before we add the constellations

Add Xenofex Constellations with the settings below to all 3 frame

layers, just remember to hit the random seed button for the second 2 layers.

Now you can dig into the kit and add all the stuff you feel like ;)
When you're happy with it, remember proper ©

then we're ready to animate, close 2 of the frame layers

copy merged and paste as new animation in ani shop

open the next frame layer, closing the one you've used, copy merged again

and paste after current in ani shop, do the same to the last one,

animate and save!

And you're done!!

Lets start

Open a new image 550 x 550 flood fill white

Add the frame, resize to 70%. Add backgrounds in the frames

and the image you want in each frame.

Duplicate the images and mirror them, we'll animate later

so they change windows. merge down the 2 images that are gonna

be used together so you'll have less levels to think of ;)

Give the images and the frame a drop shadow.

Add a raster level above the white background, flood dill

it in the same color as in the frames (#d57493 in my tag),

add the mask and merge group.

I duplicated it too to make it a bit heavyer ;) merge down the 2

if you do.

Add Penta.com - Dot and Cross . Change settings to 170, 6, 3.

Add the bow, resize and place it, duplicate and mirror,

add a drop shadow.

Add the pin, resize and use the pick tool (K) to tilt it a bit to the left,

erase a bit at the end of it and give it

a drop shadow, only this time, hit the box for shadow

on new layer, the layer will be chained to the pin so you wanna unlock it

(Stand on the shadow layer. Look above the layers, you'll see a bow with a bit

of a chain and a number, you wanna click it till it says "None")

Then use the pick tool to rotate it a bit to the left and move it into the pin,

makes the pin stand up more ;)

Add your tube in front, place it and give it a drop shadow.

duplicate and mirror it, move the mirrored layer down below the

frame backgrounds and change blend mode to soft light.

You might like another mode layer, depending on your colors,

just play around with it ;)

Add the text you'd like under each window, play around with

the text sizes ;)

Add your name and proper ©

then we're ready to animate.

Open ani shop 3, copy merged and paste as new

animation in ani shop, we want 2 identical of the first layer, so hit the paste after

current button to add it. Back in PSP open the other tube layer in the

frames, closing the one you've used, copy merged again

stand on the first frame in ani shop and paste after current.

Now you've got 3 frames right ? ;)

Stand on the first frame, rightclick and choose Insert Image

Transition, choose the settings as shown below;

Hit OK, go to the second to last frame (frame 6) and add the same Transition again.

Animate and save ;)

And you're done!!

Let's start

Open a new image 600x600 flood fill white

add the heart frame and color it to compliment your tube

Add your tube of choise, duplicate it and mirror, move the mirrored one

below the frame and resize to 120% and position it to your liking.

To remove the access use the magic wand,

select inside the frame layer and expand by 9

(selections-modify-expand)

selections - invert and hit delete.

then selections - invert again

add a new raster layer, pick a color for your background and flood fill it.

Add Penta - Dot and Cross with these settings

Now use the move tool to position your original tube on top

keep the selection, hit invert again.

This is how I remove access when I want my tube to be standing inside

a frame, I think it gives the nicest result.

Duplicate it and move the original below the frame hit delete to remove

the access of the layer below the frame.

Now deselect.

Move back to the tube on top, take the eraser tool, use the round shape
and delete the parts covering the hearts at the bottom, don't worry about

accuracy, you have the copy below to fill in the gaps;)

Give the tube a drop shadow (-3, -4, 60, 9, chose shadow on new layer.)

you might see shadows sticking out like below,

just take your eraser tool and erase the parts of the drop shadow that aren't

supposed to be showing.

There's several ways of doing this, so stick to the one you like best ;)

Add the wordart, recolor it if needed, I made it for this tut

so the colors were made to match her hair ;)

I've also given it a 2 colored gradient glow, and a small drop shadow

Time to add your letters in the hearts

I've used Fortunaschwein, play with size to fill the hearts

Do one letter at a time and rotate it with the handle before you

convert it to raster layer and start on the next letter,

When you're happy with the position of them merge them down together

I positioned my name on the left side, then used Image - free rotate

right by 168. you might have to rotate with other numbers

depending on wich hearts you use.

merge the 2 name layers down together

Then we're ready to animate

Open ani shop 3

Take the eraser tool, make the round shape big (I had it at 85)

so it erases each letter without any more work than one click ;)

First you close your name layer

Edit - Copy Merged (or just hit Ctrl+Shift+C)

in Ani Shop paste as new animation

back in PSP open your name layer

Edit - Copy Merged
then in Ani Shop paste BEFORE current

back in PSP use your eraser tool and click out the last letters on each side

(in my case the S's)

Edit - Copy Merged

in Ani Shop paste BEFORE current

Back in PSP erase the next letter (mine is B)

Edit - Copy Merged

in Ani Shop paste BEFORE current

do this until you've erased all but your first letter.

now in Ani Shop right click on the frame with your whole

name and chose Insert Image Transition

Apply it with the settings you see below.

Then select all frames and change frame properties to 20

before saving it

And you're done!!

Lets start

Open a new canvas 700x500 flood fill white
Add paper 3 as a new layer, add the mask and merge group
Adjust - blur - blur, then add Toadies - Ommadawn
with settings 12, 16, 234, 17.

Add frame 2 and fill in the tubes you want in each frame,

give the tubes a drop shadow (0,-3,50,5)
then add papers inside the frames behind them if your images don't fill ut up.

Use the magic wand and click on one of the black lines on the mask
so your selection looks like this

duplicate the masked layer twice and add
Xenofex 2 - constellation - choose small star constellation under Settings
and just hook the line that says Make selection transparent
Just change the Random Seed button for the other 2 layers, and hide

2 of the layers.

Decorate as you'd like ;)

My name and the wordart has a tiny gradient glow.

Merge visible when you're done and copy to Ani Shop 3

undo the merge and close the mask layer, open the next layer and

merge visible again, copy and paste after current in Ani shop

do the same with the last mask layer.

view animation and save it.

And you're done!

Eye Candy 5 impact - Gradient glow (not a must)

Font of choise, I've used ExxPresleySH

Lets start

open a new canvas 600x600, flood fill it white.

Add your frame of choise, resize it to 90%

Add a paper below it and use the mask (remember invert transparency

on this one ;), merge group. It looked too pale so I just duplicatet it

and merged it down on the first one.

Add the wordart above it

Start adding all the elements you'd like and resize to fit,

remember to sharpen if they get too blury.

And give drop shadows here and there.

About the trees I found them too wide for the tag si I just used

the pick tool (K) on scale mode to push them a bit together.

Add proper ©

And your name of choise, I've used ExxPresleySH (same as in

the wordart) Added a heavyer gradient glow with the same

color as the wordart, just pick the color pink and green from

the giftboxes ;)

Ready to add snow?

Open the snow animation in Ani Shop

In PSP merge down the masked layer on the white background

copy it, and paste as new animation in Ani Shop 3, then hit the

paste after current button until you have 10 frames.

Go to the snow, Ctrl+A to select all, Ctrl+C to copy.

Back to your background layer, Ctrl+A to select all, Ctrl+E to add

the snow, place it in the middle.

Go back to PSP to pick up the rest of the tag, close the

background layer we've already used, merge visible and copy.

Back on your tag in Ani Shop hit Ctrl+E again to place the tag

onto the background.

And you're done!

Let's start

Open a new canvas 570x450 flood fill it white

Add the frame and your tube of choise, place them to your liking.

Add a new raster layer above the white background flood fill it with

the color of your choise, I picked #ac3992 from one of the butterflies,

then add the mask, merge group and blur it (adjust - blur - blur)

Use the selection tool or rectangle to select inside the frame, add a new

raster layer and flood fill it with whatever color you have (we're changing it soon)

Duplicate it 2 times and add VDL Adrenalin with the settings below

hit the first 4 color boxes and pick a color from your tag. for the next 2 layers

just push the Random button to change the pattern.

Add blur to all 3 layers (adjust - blur - blur)

Add doodles behind the frame.
Add the wordart, change color on it and give it a drop shadow

(1,-1,60,3)

Add you name, I used the font Procyon and gave it a subtle white

glow using Eye Candy 5 -Impact - Gradient Glow.

I also gave the tube some noise parts but that's all up to you ;)

Merge visible and copy, paste as new animation in Ani Shop

Undo in PSP and open the next layers for animation, closing
the ones you've used.

Select all 3 frames (Ctrl+A) and change frame properties to 25

before saving it

And you're done!

Let's start

Open a new image, 650 x 550 flood fill it white

Add frame nr 5, pick 2 papers,

use the magic wand to select inside one of the circles,

selections - modify - expand by 4, copy your choise of paper,

add a new raster layer below the frame and paste

into selection (Ctrl+Shift+L), deselect.

Do the same in the other circle, then merge the to paper layers

down on each other.

Duplicate the paper layer 3 times (close the original, I like to

keep an original)

Add xenofex 2 Constellation - bling bling

with these settings to all 3 paper layers

just changeing the Random Seed button on 2 of them.

Now you're ready to add decorations as you'd like

My star, heart and bell is resized 50%, and remember to sharpen

things you resize alot ;)

My doodles are resized 80 %, flower 35 %, bow 60 %,

holly 50 %, candy cane 60 % and wordart 80 %

Also added a very suddle white glow

(alien skin - eye candy Impact) to the wordart

Add your name, I picked a golden color and duplicated it 3 times

added a red glow on my original layer

then added noise (uniform, monochrome, 40, 45 and 50)

to the 3 duplicated layers.

Now to give your frame a glass look

Add a new raster layer just below the frame

Use the magic wand to select inside both circles (hold down the

shift key to select the second one)

Go back to your new layer, then add Eye Candy Impact - Glass

choose clear under settings then with these basics

And drop shadows ;)

Then we're ready to animate
close all but one paper layer and noisy name layer
(remember to keep the glowing name layer open for all 3)
merge visible and copy

paste as new animation in Ani Shop 3
add the next 2 frames by opening the next paper and name,
closing the used ones.

Then we have 3 frames and can save it ;)

Let it Snow

I've used Giambattista Two

Lets start

Open the template, hit Shift+D and close the original.
Delete the top layer and we're ready to start filling all the layers
Open the Snow drift kit and choose the papers you wanna use.

This is how I add papers to each layer:
Copy the paper (Ctrl+C)

Click on the layer you wanna fill then hit
Ctrl+A
Ctrl+F
Ctrl+Shift+I

Ctrl+L to add the paper as a new layer
Then hit Del on your keyboard to Delete the access.
And close the original template layer. (or delete it if you
need less layers to think about, lol)
Do this to all the parts.

And start decorating as you like it, my scenery in the frame
came with the tube, then I added a bow and 3 flowers from
the kit. I also added a glitter doodle at the bottom.
Remember to add a drop shadow to the template frame
layers and the parts (0,0,100,7)
If you're using the same drop shadow for many layers
click the layers you wanna add it to and hit Ctrl+Y

When you're ready to start adding snow
Go down to the snowcrystal layer hit
Ctrl+A then Ctrl+F
Add 4 layers above it and add VDL Adrenalin - Snowflakes
att these settings: 125 , 5, 20, 80, 10, Basic-Icy blue
Just adjust the random seed button on the other 3 layers
Do the same again to add snow to the top framed (square)layer.

Add the name you'd like, give mine a white glow with
Alien skin Eye candy - impact- gradient glow
And remember to add the proper ©

Merge visible (remember to have 3 of each snow layer closed)
copy and paste as new animation in Ani Shop
back in PSP undo (Ctrl+Z) the merge and open the next snow layers,
while closing the ones you've used.
Merge visible again and copy, paste after current in Ani Shop
Do the same again to the next 2 snow layers.
When you have all 4 frames in Ani shop, select all and change
frame properties to 22 before saving .

That's it

Alien Skin Xenofex 2 Constellation

Lets start

First of I don't write about adding drop shadows, I take it you do

that on your own as you go along.

Open a new canvas 600x600 flood fill white

Add the green paper from the scrapkit as a new layer

Open the mask and add it to the green background

(Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image)

Merge group and resize to 95%

Add the doodle you wanna use place it behind the mask layer

move it to fit as you like. Merge down the doodle layers.

If you wanna color it like mine, here's how:

First make it grey:

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Hue/Saturation/Lightness

Hue - 12

Saturation - 0

Lightness - 45

Then add color

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize

Hue - 85

Saturation - 140

Then lower opacity to 55%

Add the Flower frame 1

Add the tube of your choise, resize as needed

Below the tube layer you add the decor like:

the circle wordart.

a cardboard tag, resized 45%

the dotted heart, resized 50%

an envelope, resized 35%

Bow 1, resized 60% then 80%

a name tag, resized 70%, mirrored

both the butterflies, resized 30% and a bit more on some,

and duplicated to as many as you'd like.

Use the Pick tool (K) to move the decor as you like it, and

tilt it to the left or right.

With resizing and tilting/rotating, images get more blury,

to fix them up, go to Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp Mask

Radius - 10

Stength - 40

Clipping - 20

Now have you remembered to add drop shadows?

if not, then now's the time for it ;)

To add stars, duplicate the mask layer 2 times

Add Alien Skin Xenofex 2 Constellation

Settings - Bling Bling

2 - 25 - 1 - 4 - 100 - 75

(Keep original image)

Just hit the Random Seed button to change positions

for the next 2 mask layers.

Add the name you'd like on the tag (I used Fortunaschwein font)

And we're ready to animate

close 2 of the mask layers, merge visible,

copy and paste as new animation in Ani Shop 3,

back in PSP, open the next mask layer, and close the used one.

Merge visible, copy and paste after current in ani shop 3,

do the same with the third mask.

Save it

And you're done!!

Wanted to make a tutorial that included lyrics from Abba's
"Slipping through my fingers" cos I love the lyrics in it, and I
confess I did see "Mamma Mia" 3 times at the movies this summer, lol )

Lets start

NB! I don't write about adding drop shadows, so remember to do that as you go.

Open a new image 600x600 flood fill it white
open the scrapkit folder
Add paper 13 open the mask and run it (layers - new mask layer - from image )
merge group

Add frame5, resize 60%, rotate right 15%, sharpen and move up

Add frame2, resize 75%, use the magic wand inside the frame, add a new raster layer
below it, selections - modify - expand by 4, flood fill it white then add the lyrics as a new layer.
Add beads 2, resize 40%, erase access that sticks out.

Add frame 3, resize 35%, rotate left 15%, sharpen and move into place.

Add images into the frames, (Add another paper as background
if you don't use images that fill the frames.) I use the pick tool K to tilt them and resize to fit,
delete access that goes outside. (magic wand to select inside the frame,
selections - modify - expand by 4, selections - invert then hit delete button)

Add doodle 1 above the mask layer, resize, duplicate and move as you like them.

Add heart 1 above frame 5 (the double one), resize 50% (tilt as you like with the pick tool K)

Add tag 1, resize 60%, rotate left 55%, move into plase, ad the text you'd like (I picked
font color from the frames)

Add the flowers you like, the one on the tag is resized 40%,
the others are resized 80%, and additionally 80%, sharpen them to make them stronger.

Butterflies are resized 30%, place as you fancy ;)

Add the name you'd like, and remember the proper ©

We're ready to prepare animations

Merge the flower layers down on each other to make it easyer, the 2 flowers on the
frame we'll have to do separate,
duplicate 2 times (well I do 3 cos I like to close and save one without bling bling)
Add Alien Skin Xenofex 2 Constellation, Settings - Bling bling - 2 - 25 - 2 - 0 - 100 - 75
to all 3 layers, just hit the random seed button for the other 2 layers

Duplicate the double frame layer 2 times to add bling to the 2 flowers too.
Take the Freehand Selection tool and sircle them in, hold down the Shift key when
you do the second one so you don't lose the first selection.
Add the same Xenofex 2 Constellation to them, again
just hit the random seed button for the other 2 layers

close 2 of each bling blinged layer, merge visible, copy and paste as new animation in
Ani Shop 3, back in PSP, open the next 2 blinged layers, and close the used ones.
Merge visible, copy and paste after current in ani shop 3, do the same with the
third layer. Save it

And you're done!!

Lets start

Open a new image 600x600 flood fill it white

open the scrap kit and the mask

Add paper3 as a new layer and add the mask to it

Add frame 2, resize to 60% and drag it to the left

Add frame 1, resize to 70%, since my images don't fill the circle

I wanna fill the circle with a second paper, use the magic wand to

select inside frame 1, selections - modify - expand by 7,

selections - invert

Add paper6 as a new layer below the frame 1 layer then hit Delete

Deselect

Duplicate frame1 and the paper6 layer and resize

them to 50%, pull them both down to the left

move the small paper6 layer above the big frame 1 layer

Add the images you want in the frames and give them a drop shadow

if needed. I also gave the circle frames an extra drop shadow

(I don't write every drop shadow, so add it to the things you feel need it)

Add the foliage flowers under the frame 2 layer, resize to 80% and move

up to the left

Add the callalillies, resize to 50% and move on top of the circle

frame down to the right

Add the label, resize to 70% and mirror it, move it up to the

right, and place it below the filling in the big circle

Add the text you want to it, I picked a dark pink from the frame.

I also gave my text (Be Aware) an

inner bevel (bevel 2,width 8, 40, 5, 0, 0, 315, 50, 25 white)

Add the dragonfly, use the pick tool (hit K) to resize,

rotate and move to your liking, give it a drop shadow.

Add the ribbonwrap, resize 60%, add a drop shadow and move under the small

circle frames filling , make sure the callalillies are below the ribbon too.

On top of the ribbonwrap I've added the twistribbon and flower3

Use the pick tool (K) to resize, move and rotate to your liking.

Add button 1 below the ribbonwrap, use the pick tool (K) again to resize

and move it. (I confess, I'm a big fan of the K, LOL)

Add bow 1, resize to 30% place it on one side, then duplicate and

mirror and merge down.

Duplicate them again, and resize to 50% and hit K to

drag them down to the small frame and rotate them to fit

the circle.

Add the pendant, resize to 30% and place under the bow to the right.

Add tag2 at the bottom, hit K to resize, rotate and move

Do the same with the ladybug.

And add name to the tag.

Think I've mentioned everything now.

Look over it and see if things need a drop shadow.

Crop if needed.

And you're done!!

Lets begin

Open a new image 600x600 transparent.

Add the round pumpkin with leaves, resize it to 25%Add Mura's Meister copies with these settings

add a drop shadow (1,1,100,6)
Use the magic wand and select inside the pumpkin circleSelections - modify - expand by 5

add a new raster layer below it and flood fill it #fa9f4e Deselect

Duplicate it twice and add Eye Candy 4000 - HSB Noise - Transparent Haze with

these settings to all 3 layersfor the other 2 layers just hit the Random Seed button

Close 2 of the layers.

Add your tube of choise and give it a drop shadow.
Add the wordart, resize and give it a drop shadow

(I had to split mine in 2 using the freehand selection tool,

so that I got one part on each side of her leg.)

Duplicate it twice, use the freehand selection tool to just select the pumpkin.

Add Xenofex 2 Constellation Bling Blingwith these settings,

hit the Random Seed button for the 2 other 2 layers

Crop it if needed

Now we're ready to animate.
Merge visible and copy
Open Animation Shop 3 and paste as new animation.

Undo in psp, and open the next wordart and circlefilling layer closing the ones you've used.
Merge visible again and copy.

Paste after current in Ani Shop 3.Do the same to the third layers in PSP.
Select all frames and change frame properties to 25.

And you're done!!

Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact

Let's start!!

Open a new canvas 600x500, flood fill it white.
Open the tube you wanna use and pick a dark color from it, for your mask.
Add a new raster layer and fill it with your color
(I've used a very dark green from my tube)

Open my mask. Go to Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image and choose vaybs mask hw 01
in the Source window. Merge group.
Duplicate it twice, and use the magic wand at these settings

to select inside all the 3 white frames like this while holding down the Shift key

Add Alien Skin Xenofex 2 Constellation - Bling Bling at these settings

to all 3 layers just hitting the Random Seed button on the other 2.
Now lets add flames behind the pumpkins.
Use the Selection tool and make a selection like this below both the pumpkins.

Add 3 new raster layers under the pumpkins.
Add Alien Skin Eye Candy 5; Nature - Fire, at Default settings.
Add it to all 3 raster layers hitting the Random Seed button on the next 2.
Deselect And make a new selection around both pumpkins like this

Selections - Invert
Then hit delete in the 3 flame layers to get rid of the redundant flames. Deselect.
Add your tube, resize to fit the frame. Remember the proper © info.
Open the KR_Perfect_Pumpkin font and the 171RR pattern
Then choose the Text tool and find the font. hit the backgroundcolor to find
the pattern in patterns.

I've given the name a subtle glow using Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Gradient glow
Settings : Subtle White Glow
Basics: I changed the color to a yellow from the flames and lowered the opacity like this

Now we're ready to animate.
Close 2 of the flame layers and 2 of the mask layers.
Merge visible and copy

Open Animation Shop 3 and paste as new animation.
Undo in psp, and open the next flame and mask layer closing the ones you've used.

Merge visible again and copy. Paste after current in Ani Shop 3.
Do the same to the 3 layers in PSP.

Select all frames and change frame properties to 20.

Winter Wonderland

Eye Candy 5 Impact - Gradient glow

Let's start!!

Open a new image 600 x 600, food fill it white
Choose a sheet from my kit, copy and paste as a new layer,
add the Becky Mask019, merge group and resize 80%

Add the snowflake frame, resize 80% and give it a light
drop shadow (1.1.50.7)

Add your tube of choise in the frame, resize and give a drop shadow
Add the elements you'd like, I've used the trees, the framed
wordart and a glitter doodle.
The glittery doodle is added below the masked layer.

Select and copy the alpha letters you need for your name
resize them to your liking, and place them as you like.
Merge the letters down, til you have them on one layer.

Use Eye Candy 5 Impact - Gradient Glow - Subtle white glow
to make the name stand out more.
I also used it for the © info to make it more visible.

When you're satisfied with your image, crop it and
merge down the layers starting with the masked layer and down to the
white background. (on my image that's the masked layer, the glittery
doodle and the white background.)

Copy the merged layer and paste as new animation in Ani Shop 3
Open the Snow animation, it's got 10 frames so you gotta paste
after current til you have 10 frames on your background image.

On the Snow animation, Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C
On your background Ctrl+A, Ctrl+E
Place it so it covers the circle and the glitter doodle.

Back in PSP. close the merged backgroundlayer,
and merge visible the rest of the image, copy

In Ani Shop 3, paste as new animation, and paste after current
until you've got 10 frames. Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C
On your background Ctrl+A, Ctrl+E and plae it in the center.

And you're done!!

Open the xmas murial, Lights are on 2 layers, ready for animation later.

duplicate the greens around the mural and to the original, add

Mura's Meister copies with these settings.

Add the things you want in front of the murial.

On the boxes I've used drop shadows with these settings

0, -5, 50, 5

On "Merry Xmas" I used this shadow 5, -1, 50, 5

Remember proper ©

When you're satisfied merge visible and copy, paste as new animation in Ani Shop 3
Back in PSP, undo the merge, and open the other xmas lights layer, closing the one
you've used, merge visible and copy, paste after current in Ani Shop 3
And you're done!!

Let's start!!

open the tattoo chick supplies file, save it as a new name,
flood fill the bg layer white

Find the tube you wanna use and then choose a gradient to compliment it
if you don't have a fitting one, pick 2 colors from your tube and use the
foreground/background gradient.

Add a new raster layer and place it behind the white background
flood fill it with the gradient. then hit Ctrl+C to copy this layer.
Go to the windows layer, selections - select all, float, defloat.
Add a new raster layer and paste the gradient into the selection (Ctrl+Shift+L)
close the black windows layer.

Do the same as above to both the squares and the nameplate layer. Keep the selection on
the nameplate while adding Alien skin Eye Candy 5 Impack - Bevel at factory default settings
but do the changes shown below

Merge the nametag frame down on the nametag, and give it a drop shadow (0,0,100,6)
Just delete the gradient layer we used to fill everything now that you're done with it.

Duplicate your windows layer 3 times add sandflower special - pool shadow with different
settings to the 3 copy layers (just play around with the settings)

Add Visual Manipulation - Transmission with these settings to all the 3 copied layers.

To the original windows layer Adjust - blur-gaussian blur 15
Then VM extravaganza - transmission 2,10,25

Put the squares layer above the blured windows, below the other 3
Open the tattoo font, and add 4 tattoos to your windows, I made them white and
changed blend mode to overlay.

The font on my other text is called Sidhe.
Give the frame a drop shadow (0,0,100,8) (I left it without in case you wanna change
color of it, I tried several but ended up with the original grey)

Give your tube a drop shadow too, and remember the proper © info.
When you're done with the tag, close 2 of the windows layers, merge visible and copy.
Open Animation Shop 3 and paste as new animation.

Undo in psp and open the next windows closing the one you've used, merge visible and copy
paste after current in ani. shop. Do the same with the last windows layer
Select all (Ctrl+A) and change frame properties to 25.

And you're done!!

Let's start!!

Open a new image 500 x 520
Flood fill it white
Add a paper as a new raster layer,

add the mask, move and resice to your liking.

Add a triangle frame, resize it 80%, give it a small drop shadow
add the flower circle, resize 75%
add the flower border, resize it 90%
Add the tube in front and place it to sit on the frame. Give it a drop shadow.

Use the magic wand to select inside the frames, Selections - modify - expand by 2
add the tubes you want in the frames as a new layer,

move it to your liking, when you're happy with it,

Selections- Invert then hit the Delete key to remove the access of the tubes.

Add the proper © and what ever more you like,

and we're ready to add the butterflies

Merge visible and copy the image over to Animation Shop
Paste after current until you've got 15 frames

Open the butterflies, chose one of them, hit Ctrl+A to select all frames,

and Ctrl + C to copy

On your tag, hit Ctrl + A to select all and Ctrl + E to see the butterflies

then just click them where you want them.

Hit Ctrl + E again to place the same butterflies again.

Do the same for all the butterflie animations as many times as you want them.

And you're done!!

Starry Starry Night

Font of choise, I've used Renaissance

Let's start!!

Open a new image 600 x 600, flood fill it white
Add one of the papers as new raster layer (I've used 01),

Add the DBV mask 02 and merge group,

Add a new raster layer and flood fill it with a very dark blue (I used #090a2e)
Add the mask to this layer too, merge group.

Add frame nr 01

Use the magic wand to select inside the frame

selections - modify - expand by 12

then hit delete on the first masked layer (the flower one)

Add the wordart or make your own ;)

Add the flower line, resize it to 90 %,

and drag it to the bottom of the flower frame.

Add your tube of choise and some butterflies,

Remember to give all elements a drop shadow., and sharpen things

you've resized alot ;)

Add your name, I've used the font Renaissance, size 85.

now close out your name layer, we're adding it later in Ani Shop ( after all the stars)
Merge visible and copy your image over to Ani Shop
Paste as new animation, then hit the Paste After Current button
until you have 16 frames.

Open the twinks, they also consist of 16 frames, hit Ctrl+A to select all frames then Ctrl+C to copy them.

Select all frames in your image (ctrl+a) then stand on your first frame,
hit Ctrl+E and place the stars where you like them, hit Ctrl+E again to place them again,
and again and again......... LOL, I lost count of how many times ;)

(PS!!
IF you wanna save your tag with just the stars, and be able to add another name later
hit Ctrl+A to select all frames, Copy, and Paste it into PSP, save it as a psp image.
Then open it in Ani Shop whenever you like)

Now over in PSP, open your name layer, copy it over to ani shop, and paste after current until you have 16 frames of it.
Add it to the center of your night sky same way you did with the stars.

And you're done!!

Let's start!!

Open a new image 600 x 600
Flod fill it white
Add the tube you want in front
Use the elipse tool, mode: circle, Show Nodes and Create on Vector checked, Solid line, width 55
Foreground color: Wood pattern,Background color: maxican flag gradient (angle 270)

Make a circle that fits behind your tube
Add a new Vector layer above your circle

Use the text tool and add the text you want around the circle,
hover it over the vector circle and click when you see the plus sign and an A with a curve under it.
it goes in the circle now but we're moving it out right after.
( I used the font SexyRexy at 16)

Rightclick on the text layer and convert to rester layer
Then resize it to fit just outside the circle, I needed 113% resize on mine.

Add the cactus, mine's resized 90%, Blend Mode: darken, Opacity: 80
dupliate if you want 2.

Add 3 Raster layers just below the gunwoman layer.
Stand on the first of them

Use the Freehand Selection Tool, freehand, feather 0.
Make a selection where you want the smoke to be

Eyecandy 4000 - smoke
Settings - Light Puffs

these were the setings I ended up with, move around and find the ones that fit best to your selections

Add this to all 3 new raster layers, just hit the Random button to make the smoke move.
Deselect
Close out 2 of the smoke layers
convert the Circle layer to Raste layer before you add the text you want and the proper CR information

When you're satisfied we're ready do add the bulletholes.

Add the first bullethole where you want it to start (on a layer above the circle text layer) (I've started on the left side,
and working my way around the cirkle.

Merge visible and copy to Ani Shop.

Undo the merge, close the smoke you used and open the next one
add another bullethole where you want it
(either duplicate or add the bullethole to picture tubes so it's easyer to just dab it on the same layer as the first one.

Merge visible and copy, paste after current in Ani Shop.
Repeat this until you've got all the bulletholes you want.

Remember to change the smoke everytime, and add another bullethole.
I've used 8 bulletholes, then close the bullethole layer(s) and merge one image with no holes,
and paste after current at last

Select all layers and change Frame Properties to 25

And you're done!!

Let's start!!

Open a new image 550 x 550
Flood fill it white
Add a new raster layer, flood fill it with a pattern of your choise
Add the 20-20 mask, merge group.

Add the tube you wanna use, then go back to stand on the mask layer
Use the Ellipse tool, foreground color black, background closed (transparant),
Mode: draw circle, Line style: solid, width: 70

Make a circle and adjust it (use the pick tool) to fit behind your tube.
Selections - select all, selections - float, selections - defloat.
Add 3 raster layers

Find the gradient you wanna use (tp_Blackberry), style: sunburst, Repeats: 26, invert checked.
Flood fill the selection on the first of the new raster layers
Change Repeats to 28, and flood fill the selection on the second new raster layer
Change Repeats to 30, and flood fill the selection on the third new raster layer
Deselect, and close out the black cirlce.

Add Eye Candy 5 Impact - Bevel with these setting on all the 3 gradient circle layers:

To add the curved text on top:
Make a new filled circle same size as the hollow ones, Width: 0, Backgroundcolor: black

Add a new vector layer and use the text tool,
hover it over the vector circle and click when you see the plus sign and an A with a curve under it.

Add your text, convert to raster layer, then add Eye Candy 5 Impact - Gradient Glow,
Settings: Black and White Stripes

Add the name you want and don't forget the proper copyright info.

Close 2 of the circle layers (and close the filled circle we used to place the text, if you haven't already)
Merge visible and copy to Animation Shop

Undo the merge, close the circle you've used and open the next one
Merge visible, copy and paste after current in Ani Shop
Repeat the last step to get the last circle layer

Select all 3 frames in ani shop and change frame properties to 15

And you're done!!

On Fluffy Pink Clouds

Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Textures

Font of choise, I've used GeeohHmkBold and Kunstler Script.

Let's start!!

Open a new canvas 720x600, flood fill it white
Add a new raster layer, select all.
Open the pink background sheet, copy it and
paste into selection in your image. Deselect.

Add the Becky_Mask023, merge group.
Duplicate it and merge down, doplicate again and go to
Image - Mirror, and merge down again.

Add the flower frame and the flowerstring as new layers.
Use the magic wand to select inside all 3 frames,
Selections - modify - expand by 10
add a new raster layer below the frames and flood fill
them with the pink paper (open it and select it in patterns).

Keep them selected, and add the 3 images you want in the
3 frames, (on layers between the paper and the frames)
resize and place them as you like, then

Selections - Invert and hit delete in all the 3 image layers
to remove all the redundants.

Deselect and merge the 3 image layers down on each other.
Give them a drop shadow (0,0,75,6) Change Blend Mode to
Luminance (Legacy).

Give the frame the same drop shadow.
Duplicate the pink background layer till you have 4 layers
Add Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Textures - Texture Noise
On Settings choose - Cloud Cover
On Basic - hit the button for "Add Noised to original color"
instead of the one with "Add noise to a solid color".
Then hit OK.

Add this to the next 3 layers, only hitting the Random Seed
button each time to change positions.

Add The tube you want in front give it a heavyer drop shadow.
Place it between the frame and the flowerline.

Remember the proper © info.

Use the Ellipse tool to make a circle behind the middle flower
frame, if you made it too big or too small, just use the Pick
tool to drag it and move it.

Add a new Vector layer above it to place the text on.
Place the text tool on the top middle of the circle.
I've used the font GeeohHmkBold

On my name in the front I've used Kunstler Script.
Close 3 of the pink frame-background layers and merge visible
copy and paste as new animation in Animations Shop 3.

Undo and open the next pink frame-background layer, closing
the first one, merge visible and copy
Paste after current in Ani Shop 3.

Do the same again till you have all 4 frame backgrounds.
Open the butterfly and flower animations.
They are only 2 frames so hit Ctrl+a copy them and paste after
current to the last frame. Do this on both animations to get 4
frames on each.

Then select all (ctrl + a)again on the butterfly and copy
On your image select all and hit Ctrl+E to see the butterfly
and then place it where you like.

To mirror the butterfly keep all frames selected and go to
Aniamtion - Mirror.

Do the same to place the other animation where you like.
Just hit Ctrl+E as many times as you'd like to place it.

And you're done!!

Little Bow Peep

Font of choise, I've used Fontasia One

Let's start!!

Open a new image 550 x 550
Add Xenofex 2 - Little Fluffy Clouds, in Settings choose Wispy morning

Add a new raster layer, flood fill it white.
Add the grungeframe mask with invert transparency hooked. Merge group.

Add the clouds, resize them to your liking, duplicate if you want more clouds. Change blend mode to Luminance Legacy.

Add the grass, duplicate it and flip one, move it to the bottom of the first one and merge them down like this

Duplicate it and move the bottom one a bit higher
we're now adding the lambs on a layer between the 2 grass layers, resize them to your liking

Place them so the end of the front rope is just outside the frame,
close the front grass to se where you're placing the lambs
I kept them on the white line like this

Duplicate the lams and close the first layer, move the lambs forward a bit and duplicate again.

Do this until you've got all the lambs to pass by,
I ende up with 6 layers. close the last one you end with and open the first one so it's ready for animation.

Remember to open the grass layer too if you closed it.

Add the curious lamb outside the frame, resize it the same amount as you did the others. Add a drop shadow (0,0,100,9)

Add the tube you're using give it the same drop shadow.

Open the blue alpha, copy the letters you need,
resice them and place them the way you want them, merge them down and give them a little drop shadow (0,0,100,4)

Add the text you like and remember the proper © info.
Then we're ready to animate the lambs.
Merge visible and copy to ani shop.
undo the merge, close the first lambs and open the next one. merge visible and copy,
paste after current in ani shop.
do this till you have all the lamb layers with you, I ende up with 6 frames.

Ctrl+A to select all frames, change frame properties to 35

And you're done!!

A Very Merry Xmas

Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact
VDL Adrenaline - Snowflakes

Font of choise, I've used Curlz MT (circle text is included)

Let's start!!

Open my template, save it with a new name so you don't loose the original
and flood fill the background layer white.

Use the magic wand to select the red areas of the circle, duplicate the layer twice
and add VDL Adrenaline - Snowflakes at these settings to all 3 layers, just change the
random seed for the next 2.

Add the tube you want in front, give it a drop shadow (mine is o,o,100,9)

Add the bow (I resized mine twice by 60%, drop shadow 0,0,100,5)
duplicate it 2 times and add a star to just one of the bells on each layer

Add your name, I've used the font Curlz MT, size 100, bold, stroke 2.
I also gave it a subtle white glow using Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Gradient Glow
When you're done decorating and adding proper © info,
close 2 of the duplicated layers (circle and bow) merge visible and copy

Paste as new animation in Ani Shop 3
Go back to PSP and undo, open the next circle and bow, closing the ones you've used
merge visible and copy again, paste after current in ani shop.

Do the same again to get the 3rd layers.

Open the red and green ball and you'll see it has 8 frames.
just copy the midle one of your 3 frames and paste after current to the last one to get 4 frames.
then select all 4 frames, copy, stand on the last one and paste after current to get 8 frames.
Select all frames on the greenball, animation - resize animation, by 70%.
Do the same to the redball too.
Then choose the ball you wanna add first, hit ctrl+a then ctrl+c
On your tag hit ctrl+a then ctrl+e to see the ball and place it where you like
do the same to the other ball to add it.
Keep all frames selected on your tag and change frame properties to 20.

And you're done!!
